Process Redesign
Course Description
Process redesign is fundamental to increase efficiency, improve quality, and advance overall performance. This workshop teaches participants how to apply the tools and techniques necessary to run a process redesign project. Individuals will learn how to map existing processes, target areas for redesign, and execute changes. Participants build skills by applying learned techniques to an actual work process.

Objectives
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:

Set the expectation and scope for the process redesign.

Facilitate the process mapping technique and tools.

Analyze processes for deficiencies and target areas for redesign.

Measure process performance to validate improvement.

Plan to effectively implement and anchor new processes into the operation.

Learning Methods
This is an instructor-led workshop that uses presentation, individual exercises, and small group activities to acquire process redesign skills. Materials are provided for each participant. Application tools are also provided to help participants transfer the skills back to the job.

Duration
The workshop lasts four hours to one day, depending on the degree of application.
